Oct. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Kansai Electric Power Co. may submit results of government-mandated stress tests on its Ohi No. 3 nuclear reactor as early as Oct. 28, public broadcaster NHK reported on its website.
Kansai Electric would be the first utility to submit the test results, which are a requirement for restarting halted nuclear reactors, the report said.
The utility hasn’t determined when it will submit the results, Yusuke Inoue, a spokesman for Kansai Electric, said by phone today.
