Oct. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi was urged to pursue an “ambitious timetable” to boost economic competitiveness, according to a draft statement from a summit of euro-area leaders in Brussels. Berlusconi should reduce debt, cut bureaucracy and liberalize closed professions, the draft said.
