German Two-Year Notes Extend Advance; Yield Drops Below 0.50%

Oct. 26 (Bloomberg) -- German two-year notes extended their gain, pushing the yield below 0.50 percent for the first time in almost three weeks.

The yield fell seven basis points, or 0.07 percentage point, to 0.499 percent as of 3:56 p.m., the first time it has slipped below 0.50 percent since Oct. 6.
