Yingluck Says Water May Enter Central Bangkok If Barriers Break

Oct. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said some parts of Bangkok may experience floods of about 50 centimeters as water from areas north of the city threaten to overwhelm the city’s flood defenses.

In a worst-case scenario, floodwaters could reach 1.5 meters in some low-lying areas, Yingluck said today in a televised address.
