Oct. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Unilever Pakistan Ltd., the nation’s biggest consumer goods maker, said third-quarter net profit rose 9 percent because of higher detergent and icecream sales.
Net income rose to 1 billion rupees ($11.5 million), or 77.94 rupees a share, in the three months ended Sept. 30, from 949 million rupees, or 71.36 rupees a share, the Karachi-based company said in a filing to the Karachi Stock Exchange today. Sales rose to 13.4 billion rupees from 11.5 billion.
