Oct. 25 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stock-index futures fell, erasing earlier gains, as 3M Co. and United Parcel Service Inc. tumbled after reporting earnings. The euro reversed gains as investors awaited tomorrow’s European debt-crisis summit.
Futures on the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index futures slipped 0.3 percent at 8:56 a.m. in New York. The Stoxx Europe 600 Index decreased 0.5 percent, after gaining as much as 0.4 percent. The euro weakened 0.2 percent to $1.3899 after climbing 0.2 percent earlier. The yield on 10-year Treasuries was little changed at 2.23 percent and similar-maturity German yields were little changed at 2.12 percent.
