October 25, 2011

Oct. 25 (Bloomberg) -- India’s 10-year bonds rose the most in seven weeks after the central bank said risks to economic growth “are becoming visible,” fueling speculation the monetary authority will reduce the pace of interest-rate increases.

The yield on the 7.8 percent security due April 2021 fell 5 basis points to 8.76 percent as of 9:14 a.m. in Mumbai, according to the central bank’s trading system.
