Oct. 25 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Bogota trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 3 p.m. local time.
The IGBC Index fell 1.6 percent to 13,386.36, while the Colcap Index fell 0.8 percent to 1,620.98.
Banco Davivienda SA (PFDAVVND CB), Colombia’s third-biggest bank, fell 0.2 percent to 20,200 pesos. The bank began selling Oct. 20 as many as 40 million preferred shares in the local market for 20,000 pesos each.
Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (PREC CB), the Toronto-based oil producer that operates fields in Colombia, fell 4 percent, the most in three weeks, to 45,100 pesos. About 4,000 Rubiales workers began a protest at two of Colombia’s main oil fields, demanding a pay raise for those who weren’t covered by a wage agreement reached earlier this year, La Republica newspaper reported, citing Rodolfo Vecino, head of the Petroleum Industry Workers Union.
