China Minimum Wages Raised in 21 Regions by End-September

Oct. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Twenty one regions in China including Beijing and Tianjin raised minimum wages by an average 21.7 percent this year as of the end of September, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security said in Beijing today.

Shenzhen’s minimum wage of 1,320 yuan is the highest monthly level in the country while Beijing has the highest hourly minimum wage at 13 yuan, the ministry said.
