Oct. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Bank of France Governor Christian Noyer said France’s economy is slowing, though he doesn’t expect an outright recession.
“We’re in a atmosphere of a slowing economy,” Noyer said today on BFM radio. A recession “isn’t the scenario of any institution,” he said.
He said French household savings are “significant” and will allow consumers to keep spending.
