Malawi Inflation Rate Climbs to 7.7% in September on Commodities

Oct. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Malawi’s annual inflation rate climbed to 7.7 percent in September as commodity prices increased, the National Statistical Office said.

Inflation accelerated from 7.6 percent in August, the Zomba-based office said in an e-mailed statement today.
