Oct. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Italian President Giorgio Napolitano gave final approval today to the nomination of Ignazio Visco as governor of the Bank of Italy, according to an e-mailed statement from his office today.
Napolitano signed a decree nominating Visco as Mario Draghi’s successor, according to the statement, following approval of the appointment earlier today by the Bank of Italy’s Board of Directors.
