BOJ Establishes Baht-Lending Program for Firms Affected by Flood

Oct. 25 (Bloomberg) -- The Bank of Japan said it would help extend baht-denominated loans to Japanese companies that have been affected by flooding in Thailand.

The program will be conducted in cooperation with the Bank of Thailand using Japanese government bonds as collateral, the BOJ said in a statement released on its website today. Details of the program are being finalized, the statement said.
