Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne is delivering on his deficit-reduction plan, the Treasury said in a statement after figures today showed borrowing fell more than economists forecast in September.
“At the halfway point in the fiscal year, half of the fall in borrowing forecast for the whole year has been achieved,” the Treasury said in statement released in London.
