Treasuries Advance; 10-Year Yield Falls 2 Basis Points to 2.17%

Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Treasuries advanced as declines in Asian shares and concern about Europe’s debt crisis supported demand for the relative safety of government debt.

The yield on the 10-year security slid two basis points to 2.17 percent as of 1:03 p.m. in Tokyo.
