Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Taiwan trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Taipei.
The Taiex Index added 10.19 points, or 0.1 percent, to 7,254.51, paring its weekly decline to 1.4 percent.
Epistar Corp. (2448 TT) declined 1.3 percent to NT$55.30, the lowest close since Oct. 7. The light-emitting diode maker’s stock rating was lowered to “neutral” from “outperform” by Darryl Chen, an analyst at Credit Suisse Group AG.
Largan Precision Co. (3008 TT) sank 6.9 percent to NT$621, the lowest close since Oct. 7. The stock was cut to “neutral” from “outperform” at KGI Securities. The company’s rating was also reduced to “add” from “buy” at Fubon Securities Co.
