Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) -- The European Union’s debt crisis is a turning point in the bloc’s history that shows member states must impose more fiscal discipline, Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski said today in a speech at a central banking conference in Warsaw.

Poland intends to fulfill the requirements for membership in the euro area, Komorowski said.
