Murdoch Tells Investors News Corp. Must Be ‘Principled’ Company

Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Rupert Murdoch, addressing News Corp.’s phone-hacking scandal, told shareholders at the annual meeting today the company must be principled.

“We cannot just be a profitable company,” Murdoch, the company’s chairman and chief executive, said at the meeting in Los Angeles. “We must be a princpled company. I am personally committed to right any wrong that was committed.”
