Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) -- German Chancellor Angela Merkel will address the lower house of parliament in Berlin next week on the debt crisis, a spokesman for Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union party said.
Merkel will give the government’s position on the crisis on Oct. 26, the day of a second European Union summit, the spokesman said on condition of anonymity because the speech has not yet been anounced by parliament. Merkel canceled a speech to parliament on the crisis she had been due to give today.
