Perpetual Energy Shares Plunge 31% After Dividend is Suspended

Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Perpetual Energy Inc., which produces natural gas in Canada, plunged 31 percent in Toronto Stock Exchange trading, the most since 2003, to C$1.59 after suspending its dividend. The company cited weakness in natural gas prices, which sank 26 percent from June 8 to yesterday.
