Nippon Life Asks Olympus to Take ‘Prompt’ Action on Concerns

Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Nippon Life Insurance Co., the biggest shareholder of Olympus Corp., asked the Japanese camera maker to take “prompt” action to address investor concern and distrust regarding the company’s corporate governance, according to an e-mail from Akira Tsuzuki, a Tokyo-based spokesman for Nippon Life.
