Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Greek lawmakers debating austerity measures in Parliament today confirmed the death of one protester during protests and strikes in Athens.
“We express our condolences,” Acting Speaker Anastasios Kourakis said in statements carried live on state-run Vouli TV.
A 53-year-old construction worker died of cardiac arrest after a rock hit him in the head during the protests today, Skai.gr website reported earlier, without saying how it got the information
