German Banks Won’t Need State Funds for Capital, Reuters Reports

Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Germany’s biggest banks won’t need funds from the state as part of efforts to recapitalize Europe’s banks, Reuters reported, citing unidentified people close to politicians and regulators.

The banks will require a figure in the “mid-range single- digit billions” of euros based on European Banking Authority tests, the news agency said.
