German 10-Year Bonds Open Higher; French Securities Advance

Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- German 10-year government bonds opened higher, pushing the yield down by five basis points to 2.01 percent as of 7:06 a.m. in London. The two-year note yield decreased four basis points to 0.58 percent.

French bonds also rose, with the yield on the 3.25 percent security maturing in October 2021 falling six basis points to 3.15 percent.
