Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Empresas Publicas de Medellin SA’s telecommunications unit sold 300 billion pesos ($157.2 million) worth of inflation-linked bonds in the local market.
UNE EPM Telecomunicaciones SA, or UNE, as the company is known, sold five- and 12-year securities to yield 3.67 and 4.76 percentage points above inflation, respectively, the stock exchange said in a statement. Demand for the bonds totaled 417.6 billion pesos, according to the statement.
Correval SA brokerage managed the sale. Empresas Publicas de Medellin, or EPM, is a Medellin-based regional utility company.
