China Small Firms’ Biggest Problem Is Rising Costs, Adviser Says

Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- The biggest problem facing small and medium-sized companies in China is rising costs rather than financing, Zhou Qiren, an adviser to the People’s Bank of China, said in Shanghai.

The government should reduce taxes for smaller businesses, Zhou said at a conference in the city.
