Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Asian stocks rose, narrowing a weekly decline on the regional benchmark index, as European governments considered deploying $1.3 trillion to fight the region’s debt crisis, boosting the earnings outlook for Asian exporters.
The MSCI Asia Pacific Index rose 0.2 percent to 115.46 as of 9:11 a.m. in Tokyo. The measure has dropped about 1.2 percent this week.
