Taiwan Stock Movers: Catcher Technology, Foxconn, TPK Holdings

Oct. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Taiwan trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Taipei.

The Taiex Index fell 6.11, or 0.1 percent, to 7,353.37, its second day of declines. The gauge closed at its lowest level since Oct. 7.

Apple Inc.-related stocks: TPK Holding Co. (3673 TT), a supplier of touch panels for Apple devices, dropped 6.9 percent to NT$538, its steepest decline since Oct. 3. Foxconn Technology Co. (2354 TT) slid 5.9 percent to NT$104. Catcher Technology Co. (2474 TT), a maker of iPhone casings, lost 6.8 percent to NT$152. Largan Precision Co. (3008 TT), which supplies camera lenses, slid 6.9 percent to NT$685.

Apple, the world’s largest smartphone maker, reported profit that missed analyst estimates for the first time in at least six years.
