Oct. 19 (Bloomberg) -- European Union Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner Olli Rehn said plans to bolster the euro area’s bailout fund are “a work in progress.” He spoke to reporters in Brussels today.

“I trust we will have results” on the fund by meetings of EU finance ministers and leaders this weekend, he said.
