Oct. 19 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies are having unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 1:38 p.m. Lima time.
The Lima General Index fell 1.2 percent to 18,766.57. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index declined 1.6 percent to 2,446.57.
Industrial stocks dropped after U.S. shares fell in early trading, said Daniel Romero, an analyst at Lima-based investment fund NC&F Inversiones SA.
Maple Energy Plc (MPLE PE), the oil and natural gas producer with operations in Peru, fell 2.8 percent to $1.03. Austral Group SA (AUSTRAC1 PE), a unit of Austevoll Seafood ASA, dropped 3.4 percent to 28 centimos. Casa Grande (CASAGRC1 PE), Peru’s largest sugar producer, declined 3.4 percent to 14 soles as futures slumped in New York. Credicorp Ltd. (BAP PE), Peru’s largest financial-services company, slid 1.2 percent to $104.28.
Miners fell as metals declined in New York and London.
Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML PE), a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, dropped 2.4 percent to 41 cents. Volcan Cia. Minera SAA (VOLCABC1 PE), Peru’s largest zinc producer, fell 1.9 percent to 2.54 soles. Cia. de Minas Buenaventura SAA (BVN PE), the nation’s largest precious metals producer, declined 1.7 percent to $39.15. Rio Alto Mining Ltd. (RIO PE), a Canadian gold exploration company, fell 1.6 percent to $2.54.
