Peru Infrastructure Spending to Offset Slowdown, Castilla Says

Oct. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Peru will offset a global economic slowdown by creating thousands of jobs through public spending on small-scale infrastructure projects, Finance Minister Miguel Castilla said.

Peru expects to post a 1.5 percent fiscal surplus this year, Castilla told reporters today in Lima.
