Oct. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Empresas Publicas de Medellin SA’s telecommunications unit plans to sell as much as 300 billion pesos ($158 million) worth of inflation-linked bonds in the local market tomorrow.
UNE EPM Telecomunicaciones SA, or UNE, as the company is known, will offer 200 billion pesos worth of the securities and make an additional 100 billion pesos available if there is sufficient demand, according to a statement published today in La Republica newspaper. UNE will offer five- and 12-year securities linked to inflation and will use the resources to fund its investments, according to the statement. Correval SA brokerage is managing the sale.
