Oct. 19 (Bloomberg) -- The Czech Republic’s PX stock index rose 0.2 percent to 926.5 at its 4:25 p.m. close in Prague.
The following were among the most active equities on the Prague Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.
Erste Group Bank AG (RBAG CP) of Austria gained 1.6 percent to 396.8 koruna, rising from its lowest in more than two years. Financial companies led a rally of global shares as European leaders prepared for a summit to stem the region’s debt crisis.
Telefonica Czech Republic AS (SPTT CP) declined 1.7 percent to 385.3 koruna. The country’s biggest phone operator had its 12-month price estimate cut to 400 koruna from 420 koruna per share at Raiffeisen Research, citing reduced earnings forecasts.
