Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Ukraine is to reap a record corn harvest of 19 million metric tons, agriculture researcher APK- Inform said.
The total grains harvest this year may be 51.3 million tons, Anastasia Ivasenko, an analyst with the Dnipropetrovsk- based researcher, said on its website.
Ukraine’s total grain supply in the marketing year which started on July 1, which includes stockpiles, will increase 31 percent from a year earlier to 55.9 million tons, according to Ivasenko. The country’s export potential in the current marketing year is 24.5 million tons, Ivasenko said.
