Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Saudi Arabian Airlines said it expects to carry around 12 million passengers on local flights this year after it modernized its fleet with 93 new aircraft, the airline’s top official said.
The kingdom’s national carrier, based in Jeddah plans to buy another 50 planes as part of its fleet-modernization plan, Khalid al-Molhem, the airline’s director general said in an e- mailed statement today.
