Russia’s Sunflower Seeds Dropped 4.9% Last Week, SovEcon Says

Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Russian sunflower seed prices dropped 4.9 percent to 10,675 rubles ($348) a metric ton last week, SovEcon said.

Fourth-grade milling wheat declined 2.5 percent to 5,750 rubles a ton, the Moscow-based researcher said on its website. Third-grade milling wheat dropped 2.1 percent to 5,925 rubles, and feed wheat lost 1 percent to 5,075 rubles,

Feed barley declined 1.9 percent to 5,250 rubles a ton, while milling rye was unchanged at 4,200 rubles a ton, said SovEcon, which provides average offer prices in the European part of Russia.
