Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) -- The ruble gained 0.4 percent to 30.7500 versus the dollar, heading for its strongest close since Sept. 16 by 10:03 a.m. in Moscow. The Russian currency added 0.4 percent to 42.6624 against the euro.
