Greek 2010 Budget Deficit Was 10.6 Percent of GDP, Elstat Says

Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Greece’s budget deficit in 2010 was 24.1 billion euros, or 10.6 percent of gross domestic product, according to final estimates in a statement posted on the Athens-based Hellenic Statistical Authority website today.

The figures are in line with estimates released on April 26. Public debt at the end of 2010 was 329.4 billion euros, or 145 percent of GDP, according to the statement.
