ECB Says Banks’ Overnight Deposits Rose to 136.2 Billion Euros

Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) -- The European Central Bank said financial institutions increased overnight deposits to 136.2 billion euros ($189 billion) from 123.2 billion euros the previous day.

Banks borrowed 2.2 billion euros at the marginal rate of 2.25 percent, down from 2.9 billion euros the day before.
