Canada Wage Settlements Averaged 1.9% Annual Increase in August

Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Canadian wage settlements in August had increases averaging 1.9 percent annually, up from a pace of 1.7 percent in July, according to government figures.

The results are based on a review of 12 major agreements with 16,730 employees, Human Resources and Skills Development Canada said in a statement on its website.
