Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Bombardier Inc., the world’s third biggest maker of commercial aircraft, is bidding for two rail projects in the Persian Gulf emirate of Qatar, said Mickey Raviv, director of marketing for the Middle East.
Bombardier has bid to construct a metro in the newly planned city of Lusail and expects to find out the outcome of its offer by the year-end, Raviv told reporters in the capital Doha today. The company will also bid for a project to construct a metro in Doha’s West Bay business district, he said.
