Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) --Ampal-American Israel Corp. surged 15 percent to 1.458 shekels at 11:02 a.m. in Tel Aviv, the biggest increase since March 13.
The stock has slumped 83 percent this year, giving the New York City-based company a market value of 82 million shekels ($23 million).
