Oct. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Vueling Airlines SA plans to buy at least 48 passenger jets and will invite bids to supply the aircraft by the end of the year, the Sunday Express reported, quoting Chief Executive Officer Alex Cruz.
The discount carrier is seeking to replace 48 leased Airbus jetliners with Boeing 737s, Airbus A320s or planes from Bombardier Inc.’s C-Series, according to the newspaper. The company will make a decision in the first quarter of next year, according to the Sunday Express.
