Sudan Government Seeks Military Cuts in 2012 Budget, SMC Reports

Oct. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Sudan plans to cut its military budget in 2012, the state-run SMC news agency reported.

The Finance Ministry took the decision three months after the secession of South Sudan in July, which followed the end of a two-decade civil war, SMC said.
