Oct. 15 (Bloomberg) -- International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde said the global economic outlook as deteriorated in recent weeks.
“The situation is more likely to have worsened than improved in past 3 weeks” and “the risk outlook is darker,” Lagarde told journalists in Paris. “The emerging markets are worried about the risk of contagion to emerging and low income countries.”
