Kalina Jumps to Record High on $850 Million Unilever Deal Report

Oct. 14 (Bloomberg) -- OAO Concern Kalina, a Russian cosmetics maker, surged to the highest level since its shares started trading in 2004 after the Wall Street Journal said Unilever NV is close to acquiring the company in a deal worth $850 million.

Kalina’s shares jumped 40 percent to 3,077.20 rubles as of 10:12 a.m. in Moscow.
