German Stocks Pare Losses; Benchmark DAX Index Little Changed

Oct. 14 (Bloomberg) -- German equities swung between gains and losses as chemicals makers such as Bayer AG and BASF AG added the most points to the index, while banking shares in Deutsche Bank AG and Commerzbank AG dragged the most.

The benchmark DAX index rose 0.1 percent to 5.920.15 at 9:52 a.m. in Frankfurt.
