ECB’s Weidmann Says Larger Bailout Amounts Don’t Solve Crisis

Oct. 14 (Bloomberg) -- European Central Bank Governing Council member Jens Weidmann said that Europe shouldn’t keep devoting larger amounts of money to trying to solve the debt crisis.

“Reacting with ever-greater means is surely not helpful,” Weidmann said in an interview with Germany’s ZDF television today.
