RIM Says BlackBerry Service Has Been Fully Restored Globally

Oct. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Research in Motion Ltd. fully restored data service to its BlackBerry smartphones globally on the fourth day after disruptions began, according to co-Chief Executive Officer Jim Balsillie.
Balsillie spoke on a conference call with reporters today. Patrick Spence, RIM’s head of global sales and regional marketing, said earlier today that data backlogs may still be occuring and cause potential e-mail delays.
