Leighton Unit Awarded $518 Million Iraq Crude Oil Project

Oct. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Leighton Holdings Ltd.’s unit Leighton Offshore has been awarded a contract by Iraq’s South Oil Company. The $518 million contract forms part of the Crude Oil Export Facility Reconstruction Project, which is financed and supported through the Japanese official development assistance loan by Japan International Cooperation Agency. The project involves the development of two offshore platforms, an oil pipeline and a Single Point Mooring system, the company said in a regulatory filing.
